The basic table is a simple convenience. It’s also one you appreciate most when balancing a flimsy paper plate full of hot dinner on your knees. The quickest way to install a nice picnic table is probably to pay someone to do it for you. 🙂 That’s not what we did… We bought one made locally, sealed / stained it at home, then hauled it 200-ish miles to ‘the acres’.

The table has arrived!
Applying stain to all surfaces of a wooden picnic table can require a little creative positioning of the table. It’s at least a two-step process. After the finish dries, you are ready to move and install it. Hopefully to a flat spot so it does not wobble. All that’s left to do is to enjoy the convenience.
